Aromatherapy is a holistic approach to reduce stress and promote healing by using the natural scent contained within selected plant's essential oils.  These are then applied topically as a liquid or breathed as a fragrance.  In either manner, both methods are soothing and provide a healing environment which calms and relaxes a person.  This process is used to relieve a variety of physical and mental conditions.  The body's physiology responds to the natural essence of the plant extracts influencing healing in a very positive manner.

True aromatherapy is derived from natural sources and is never synthesized.  These essential oil extracts are directed to the sense of smell and used to trigger hormones.  The response from this release of hormones in the body by the use of aromatherapy fragrances is to relax and unwind.  Tension is reduced and mood is uplifted with the introduction of these natural scents.

The benefits are not only therapeutic or confined to one person, the aromatic fragrances are quite simply pleasing and can be used to freshen any room.  The experience of aromatherapy is pleasant and if at all possible best if shared.
